Thanks to biofeedback, we can act on our body temperature, our muscle tension, our breathing, and indirectly, on our heart rate variability.

Cardiac coherence is one of the most well-known biofeedback exercises.

These approaches are offered in our center, in addition to the neurofeedback that we present to you below.

What is neurofeedback?

EEgQ neurofeedback is therefore a particular type of biofeedback :

What is an EEgQ neurofeedback assessment?

An assessment made from a quantitative electroencephalogram, a functional measure of brain activity .

An elastic cap containing 19 electrodes is placed on the head, allowing the brain's electrical activity to be measured through each of the electrodes.

Brain activity is recorded with eyes open and then with eyes closed.

This activity is compared to a normative database to assess an individual's functioning and to identify atypical functioning. The assessment is based on R. Thatcher's norms using Neuroguide (Applied Neuroscience, Inc).

A brain map is thus established.

Targeted and individualized training sessions are established.
